Sports First Aid Course
A course aimed for those involved with sport
and focusing on situations that you are likely to encounter.

Course Duration 5 Hours
Serious Trauma Course
This course focuses on the management of injuries
brought about by serious trauma, i.e. road traffic accidents,
falls from height, stabbings, assault etc.

- Scene Assessment and safety
- Priorities of Care (triage)
- Patient Assessment (top to toe survey)
- The Unconscious Patient
- Serious Bleeding Management
- Spinal Injury Management
- Head Injury
- Mechanism of Injury
- Chest Injury
- Adult CPR, AED Awareness
Course Duration 5 hours
Family First Aid:
A course for those parents wishing to learn
first aid to deal with domestic emergencies, and common illness
in children:

- Adult / Child / Infant CPR
- Serious Bleeding Management
- Minor Injuries
- Burns & Scalds
- Poison
- Meningitis Awareness
- Febrile Convulsions
- Unconscious Child Management (Recovery
Position)
- Choking
- Croup
Course Duration 3 hours
This course can be held at weekends or evenings and is just £15 per head at your venue.
All courses require a minimum of 6 candidates
maximum 12.
